Welcome to Primary 1/2/3 - we are a busy class and love to learn and explore.  Our teachers are Mr Kearney and Mrs Kerr.  

This term our topic is Healthy Me and we will be learning about how to eat healthily and take care of our bodies.  Pupils will be making their own healthy snack this year and each day there will be different chefs.

We love our indoor play and we have great fun:

• in our indoor gym and fruit and veg shop
• being creative with art materials
• dressing up and role playing
• constructing with junk materials and loose parts

Every pupil has outdoor playsuits and wellies and we take our play outside on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Our PE days are Thursday and Friday.

In numeracy we are really enjoying our new Whiterose Maths Scheme and love to complete practical challenges.  We are also earning lots of stars in our Doodle Maths. In literacy, we are making great progress in our reading and are building our knowledge of our key words.  In story writing we are focusing on writing good sentences and neat handwriting. 

We are looking forward to a productive year with lots of progress!
