This week the P6/7s have been learning about Remembrance Day, what it is, where it took place, how and why we celebrate it. We have looked at the significance of the poppy and have read the poem “In Flanders Fields” by John McCrae and shared our thoughts and ideas about the poem.
We have also used the poppy as a focus for some artwork this week. We have a lot of great artists in our classroom. A huge well done everyone!
